Studentenbasketbal in Utrecht

The Utrechtse Studenten Basketbal Federatie is about enthusiastic and fair basketball. Every Monday evening 18 mixed teams compete in our internal competition. The social side of sports is also incredibly important. Throughout the year many activities, such as pub crawls, boat trips, holidays, camps and BBQs, are organized by our very own members in order to make sure we all have fun together at USBF.

USBF wants to promote an open and informal atmosphere. Every team has different genders on the court at all times and all teams are divided over four levels: low for newcomers learning the basics, mid for developing players still mastering fundamentals, high for competent players with good skills, and top for highly experienced and skilled players. Do you want to develop yourself quickly from a beginner to a pro? We organize weekly training for the low level and monthly training for the mid and high level. However, the main goal of USBF is to get together once a week for a fun and relaxed game of basketball. Some energy left after your game? Take the opportunity to get to know your teammates or rivals a bit better while enjoying a refreshing drink in the Olympos Cafe.
